Labour Day is behind us, kids are back in school and the fall surf season is upon us. After a less than stellar summer of waves it is being welcomed with optimistic enthusiasm. Hurricane Jose is churning away in the Atlantic and is posed to bring us the first serious swell of the season next weekend, and with any luck we will continue to get blessed with waves like last winter. I traveled to Nova Scotia last weekend to score some surf with an old friend of mine from the Rock. We lucked out, James and I ended up surfing both Saturday and Sunday at Cow Bay. Saturday was a session at the point and at the A-frame with waist to head high sets. Sunday was smaller, but the A-frame was decent as the tide dropped. Orders for next year will be taking place soon, so if you want a certain Jimmy Lewis board for next spring, drop me a note. There are currently some surf SUP's leftover on a 10% discount. I also have a 5'11 Kwad Kite Surfboard in stock, it will be used as a demo. If anyone is interested drop me a note.
